General Principals
Be Good to each other and don’t rattling your bone-box on and on…. never was a good idea.
General principles:
- 1. Power gaming is not encouraged. We are playing with a lot of additional content, and we are the first to admit not all of it is perfectly balanced. We’re here to tell a collective story, not beat the game. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t find fun combos or make your character powerful, we’d just like to emphasize the goal is not to break the game.
- 2. Story is important. While there will be combat, this game is primarily focused on role play and exploration. Plan accordingly.
- 3. Try to be lore accurate. We don’t expect you to know all of the planes inside and out, if anything, not knowing will lead to the joy of discovery. However it is more interesting if your character is somehow connected to the planes at large, as they will be able to better engage with the world.
- 4. Be creative. Planescape is a varied world with wild characters. If you want to play a racoon wizard who is actually just a racoon with a band of intellect…we can probably make it work. Just let us know beforehand so we can work it in.
- 5. Have fun. We’re playing a roleplaying game, and we’re all here to have a good time. Make sure to be nice, and to enjoy the experience.
