cansin are most often descended from the inhabitants of Limbo, the plane of chaos. Cansin generally appear disheveled and disorganized. Their clothing is mismatched, their hair is mussed, and their caps perch at odd angles. Cansin typically have at least one, but possibly several, minor physical traits that reflect their origins. Some have eyes that randomly change color (not necessarily in sync), others have slightly irregular features, and still others carry around an aura of randomnes that causes strange things to happen in the cansin&#8217;s presence. This aura does not affect dice rolls in any way, of course, but it can affect insignificant events such as chance meetings, minor accidents, and strange but harmless occurances. Naturally, most cansin are chaotic, but their very unpredictability makes neutral and even lawful cansin more common than good tieflings, evil aasimar, or chaotic axani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CANSIN RACIAL TRAITS<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>+2 Intelligence, +2 Charisma: Cansin are flamboyant and vivacious, capable of stunning leaps of deductive reasoning, and others often find their impulsiveness intriguing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Planetouched: Planetouched are humanoids (not outsiders) with the planetouched subtype. They are susceptible to spells and effects that specifically target both humanoids or outsiders. Charm person works against them, and so does banishment. This trait replaces the outsider entry in each planetouched description.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medium-size.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cansin base speed is 30 feet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Darkvision up to 60 feet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acid and fire resistance 5.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Entropic Shield (Sp): Cansin can cast entropic shield once per day as a cleric of their character level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>+2 racial bonus to Bluff and Search checks: Cansin are good at coming up with involved fabrications on the spot, and they often find what they are looking for by chance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatic Languages: Common. Bonus Languages: Any (except secret languages, like Druidic).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Favored Class: Sorcerer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Level Adjustment: +0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Cansib are not by default Human-Based. They can be thematically Elven, Dwarf, etc, etc.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dwarven<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Language: Dwarven instead of Home region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stonecunning: This ability grants a dwarf a +2 racial bonus on&nbsp;Search&nbsp;checks to notice unusual stonework, such as sliding walls, stonework traps, new construction (even when built to match the old), unsafe stone surfaces, shaky stone ceilings, and the like. Something that isn&#8217;t stone but that is disguised as stone also counts as unusual stonework. A dwarf who merely comes within 10 feet of unusual stonework can make a Search check as if he were actively searching, and a dwarf can use the Search skill to find stonework traps as a rogue can. A dwarf can also intuit depth, sensing his approximate depth underground as naturally as a human can sense which way is up. Dwarves have a sixth sense about stonework, an innate ability that they get plenty of opportunity to practice and hone in their underground homes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>remove: +2 racial bonus on Listen and Spot checks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Elven<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Language: Elven instead of Home region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Immunity to magic sleep effects, and a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells or effects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>remove: Light (Sp): Aasimar can use light once per day as cast by a sorcerer of their character level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gnome<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Language: Gnomish instead of Home region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>-4 Str, +2 Dex, -2 Con<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Small: As a Small creature, a gnome gains a +1 size bonus to Armor Class, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, and a +4 size bonus on&nbsp;Hide&nbsp;checks, but he uses smaller weapons than humans use, and his lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of a Medium character.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add +1 to the Difficulty Class for all saving throws against illusion spells cast by gnomes. Their innate familiarity with these effects make their illusions more difficult to see through.
